Four members of Catsurveys will be taking part in the 72 hole, ‘Longest Day Golf Challenge’ for Macmillan Cancer Support; as no one should have to face cancer alone.
Last year over £1 million was raised by a near 2,000 heroic teams, and this year we are hoping to smash that figure by taking part in this exceptional annual event, and asking for your kindness in donating to this great cause.
Catsurveys Longest Day Golf Challenge will be taking place amongst the natural woodland and rolling countryside at Benton Hall Golf and Country Club on the 17th June, where 4 mammoth rounds of nonstop golf will played by 4 committed members of Catsurveys. This gruelling 16+ hour golf day will begin with tee-off at 4.30am, and will endure a 20 mile walk around the course without the use of a buggy to carry the clubs and equipment needed; and who knows what the weather may bring! Taking part in the ‘Longest Day Golf Challenge’ requires a lot of strength, a strength that isn’t taken lightly by our team, as they are motivated by the strength displayed in others who have been touched by the devastating effects of cancer.
To date Catsurveys team members: James Binion, Sam Palmer, Adam Birch and Luke Steadman have raised £449 towards their £1,000 target, through the generosity of our supporters including MESH Construction Consultancy and TMO Highways; one of our respected strategic partners who kindly took part in our t-shirt Sponsorship. To ensure a maximum amount of money is donated to Macmillan, Benton Hall Golf and Country Club have generously offered an incredible deal on the green fees along with 2 free rounds.
Please donate today through our JustGiving fundraising page. All donations big or small will be greatly appreciated.
