UKPN Charity Golf Day 2015

Catsurveys were the main sponsor for this year’s UKPN charity golf day, which took place on the 19th June 2015, at the breath-taking grounds of Stoke by Nayland Golf Club in Essex. This hugely successful event has helped raise awareness of Help for Heroes Charity, along with raising thousands of pounds to support our wounded soldiers. This friendly charity event started with a warm welcome by the UKPN event organisers who had laid on bacon rolls and tea; fuelling our men for the 18 holes of golf and fishing which lay ahead!

Golf Team

Catsurveys proved to be at the top of their game in this year’s golfing competition, by winning Gold in the Yellow ball competition. The winning prize was 4 golfing days out for 4 people; well done team!

Catsurveys were definitely on a winning roll, as our Project Coordinator “Adam Birch”, swiftly scooped first place in the over 24 handicap individual golfing competition.

Whilst fun and frolics were taking place on the putting green; Catsurveys Director “Dave Brown”, took to the tranquil waters at one of Stoke by Nayland’s large picturesque lakes for a spot of angling. Again, Catsurveys were not going to leave empty handed at this competition, as Dave Brown landed a 8lb 9oz common carp, meaning another trophy was on the cards for the evening ceremony!

Fishing Win

This tremendously successful charity day was followed-up with a lavish black tie dinner in the evening, where various raffles and auctions took place; helping to raise more funds for Help for Heroes.
