Laser Scanning and 3D Modelling
Our specially trained laser scanning team uses the latest laser scanning technology in order to produce the correct level of detail required. They work in collaboration with our 3D modelling department to produce high detail 3D and BIM models to incorporate geomatics and physical features combined.
Laser scanning technology is invaluable when it comes to planning and executing your transportation projects, including smart city initiatives and road network upgrades. By creating a high detail 3D model, it is possible to analyse road conditions, as well as plan engineering works which will cause the least disruption to the public.
Ultra-Wide Band GPR
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) introduces radio waves into the subject material using an antenna which can be handheld, cart or vehicle mounted and allows non-destructive analysis of structural and buried features. We combine pulse and stepped frequency antennas with GNSS or total station positioning to provide a complete solution to your site requirements.
We have a dedicated GPR Department that focus on one sole task, ground penetrating radar. This means that we can ensure that the latest technology, survey acquisition, data analysis and training are considered whilst operating efficiently and safely. We can maintain high efficiency, quality and workflow to deliver outstanding results.
Our Topographic survey service includes land surveys, utility survey recording, high detail substation surveys, rail and highway layouts. These surveys are used for design, cost management and asset management. All data is processed and delivered in our award winning ‘intelligent’ document format to provide a topographic overview.
Underground Utility Detection (UUD)
Underground utility detection surveys are recommended before breaking ground to assist in complete worker safety. All of our Underground Utility Detection (UUD) surveys meet industry standards and we are able to provide all levels of PAS128 quality levels for our in-house services. Our UUD surveys are internationally awarded and recognised for their quality and innovative approach.
Both electromagnetic location and ground penetrating radar are used to detect each utility within the survey boundary. Each detection method is recorded geospatially, and data compared against each other and existing utility records. By evaluating this data, a clearer understanding and parameters of confidence can be established.
