Catsurveys achieve BIM 19650 Kitemark

Always striving to deliver the best possible service to our clients, Catsurveys are proud to have achieved the BSI Kitemark certification for the ISO 19650 standard for Building Information Modelling (BIM).

The ISO 19650 standard is an international standard for managing information over the whole life cycle of a built asset using BIM. It contains all the same principles and requirements as BIM Level 2 and is closely aligned with the current UK 1192 standards.

The BSI Kitemark is the highest level of BIM certification available from BSI. It can only be achieved if an organisation can physically demonstrate to the auditor that they are delivering to the standards that are required.

The BSI Kitemark that we have achieved includes both Part 1 and Part 2 of the ISO 19650 standard:

BS EN ISO 19650-1: Organization and digitization of information about buildings and civil engineering works, including building information modelling -- Information management using building information modelling: Concepts and principles

BS EN ISO 19650-2: Organization and digitization of information about buildings and civil engineering works, including building information modelling -- Information management using building information modelling: Delivery phase of the assets

This is a fantastic achievement for the Catsurveys team and shows our dedication to providing the best possible deliverables to our clients. To find out more about our BIM service, please click here.
