Today is the day that various workplaces, schools and do-gooders across the country are taking part in Christmas Jumper Day, and Catsurveys are one of them! We are wearing our festive knits and raising money to help save children’s lives.
Every employee at Catsurveys that has donned their snazziest Christmas Jumper has donated £2.00 to take part and will be doing some serious good around the world. We’re making the world better with a sweater!
Why take part in Christmas Jumper Day?
Taking part in Christmas Jumper Day helps bring essential healthcare, education, protection and food to millions of children around the world who are missing out on these basics.
Supporting Save the Children can protect children from easily preventable yet still deadly diseases like malaria, diarrhoea and pneumonia. It can help the charity reach children who could be forgotten simply because they were born in a remote village, because they’re girls or refugees, have a disability or are from a minority group.
Just a small donation makes such a big difference to these children in need:
£1.00 could pay for oral rehydration salts to help provide life-saving treatment to 16 children sick with diarrhoea
£2.00 could pay for winter shoes for a young child in Afganistan
£5.00 could pay for educational toys to help children in the UK learn through playing
£10.00 could pay for a pre-school learning kit in the Philippines
How we are raising money
Throughout the day we will be taking part in sweepstakes and games to raise even more funds for Christmas Jumper Day. Everyone in the Catsurveys team will be supporting Save the Children, but with your help we could raise even more for this worthy cause!
If you would like to support Catsurveys and Christmas Jumper Day, please text TEAMCAT to 70050 to donate £5.00 to Save the Children.
