A review of Marketing Week Live 2019

Marketing Week Live 2019 took place on from Wednesday 6th to Thursday 7th March. Held at the Olympia West in London, this year’s event was the busiest to date! MWLive is held in conjunction with Marketing Week and Econsultancy and celebrates all aspects of marketing and involves a mixture of practical, expert advice from some of the most respected specialists in the industry.


Media and Marketing Officer, Jodi Turpin, attended MWLive again this year to expand her knowledge in this ever-changing industry. The following is an account of her day:

“After the success of attending last year’s event, I returned to Marketing Week Live again this year to see what was on offer for 2019. MWLive was even busier this year and it was clear from the atmosphere that everyone there was excited to network and learn develop their skills with the seminars.

I had a long list of the seminars on my agenda that I wanted to attend over both the days, however some of them were so busy I didn’t manage to get into all of them! One of the busiest stages I experienced was the ‘Brand Engagement and Content Stage’ which had long queues for nearly every seminar. This was clearly the focus of the marketing professionals attending this year.

One of the most engaging seminars I attended was ‘The Magic Formula for your Video Marketing Strategy’ presented by Jon Mowat from Hurricane. Jon covered various topics including how to maximise the power of emotion through video marketing which I found extremely useful.

Catsurveys are venturing into video marketing even further this year, so I am keen to stay abreast of the latest ideas and developments in this area and attending the seminars at MWLive definitely helped me to achieve this!

Other than attending seminars, I was also able to meet up with a couple of the suppliers of our promotional items. This gave me a great opportunity to see a collection of their new items and look at the different promotional items Catsurveys can offer at our exhibitions this year. Some of the new products definitely stood out!

This year’s MWLive was fantastic, and I am looking forward to attending next year!”
