Ensuring that health and safety procedures are followed on a construction site is usually the top priority – but there is only so much protection that PPE and knowledge can provide. Not to mention, that protection is only physical. What about ‘mental protection’? Surely, it is only right that mental health and safety is given the same level of importance and investment as other hazards on site.

We are pleased to announce that Catsurveys has been selected as the winner of the Mates in Mind SME organisation Impact Award 2020.

Mates in Mind’s Impact Awards aim to celebrate their Supporters’ outstanding efforts and commitment to improving the mental health and wellbeing of their workforces across the UK. As a charity, Mates in Mind works to address the stigma of poor mental health and promote positive mental wellbeing across workplaces.

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) 2019 – a day dedicated to raising awareness of how to prevent suicide. Every year, suicide is among the top 20 leading causes of death globally for people of all ages. It is responsible for over 800,000 deaths, which equates to one suicide every 40 seconds.
